Zoom H4n Usb Driver For Mac

Was wondering if anyone has tried to set it up as an audio interface with Logic Pro. Just bought a Zoom H4n. Should receive it mid next week. I've seen various web claims that it works through its usb cable but i was wondering exactly how well does it work? I currently use a Saffire Pro 24DSP (and love it) but it would be great to be able to utilize the H4n's two XLR inputs. That with the Saffire Pro 24 would give me 4 total XLR inputs going into Logic Pro. Perhaps a different cable config/ input/output other than usb?

Any advise would be warmly welcomed...

Functioning as a 2-input/2-output USB audio interface for PC or Mac, the H4n Pro enables you to record directly to your computer. Never Miss A Take Pre-Record Capture two seconds. of audio before you hit RECORD with the Pre-Record function and never miss the start of a great take. Zoom H5 Won’t Mount as a USB Device There are Mac users who complained that the Zoom H5 recorder won’t mount as a USB device on their computer. Mac can see the device, but when users selected SD Reader on the H5 USB menu settings, a pop-up message appeared, indicating that the disk had been improperly ejected when in fact it hadn’t even.

Zoom H4n Usb Driver

hi,
I am running OBS 24.0.6 on an iMac mid-2011 (High Sierra). I have usb 2.0 ports, connected to my Zoom H4n for audio voice recording input.
When I record, the voice seems slightly sped up, and there is annoying popping. This same configuration works perfectly with audacity.
Is there something I need to configure any different on OBS? I configured the audio input through settings and selected the H4 audio input. The recording levels look good. Can't figure out why the audio is recording and all messed up.
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
